The Person Behind AKWMarketing

 I grew up between Florida and Tennessee and have lived around a variety of people, lifestyles, cultures, and communities — something that shaped both my creativity and the way I connect with others.
I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in criminal justice and psychology, originally planning to pursue counseling because I’ve always loved helping and understanding people.
Over time, I realized those same strengths translated naturally into marketing and brand communication — helping businesses connect with people in a genuine way.

 As I worked with different businesses and organizations, I saw the same challenge over and over again:

Business owners were overwhelmed trying to keep up with social media, content creation, emails, branding, and marketing while also running their businesses day-to-day.

I immediately saw where I could help fill that gap.

What started as helping a few businesses grew into a passion for helping brands build an online presence that actually feels authentic and connected to who they are.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with vacation rental brands, nonprofits, hospitality businesses, financial planning firms, local businesses, and more brands across different industries.
